Busy road, Views and a Renovation

This property was on a corner lot – I love corners!!! – the house was bang smack in the middle and it was on a busy road – I seem to like them too… It had been sitting for a while as no-one liked the busy road. We saw something different

There was lots of space on each side of the house – Which gave us a block on either side

As the cream on the cake – you could see the city – especially at night!

Of course there were a few problems to solve

Sloping to the rear of the block – so we needed to get rid of the stormwater. Luckily there was just enough fall to the main road.

The sewer ran through the middle which meant the larger block would have to “Build across Sewer”

Busy road on one side – we couldn’t change that but – It had the best view!!

Plus the side street meant they all got a frontage to the quieter street – Winning!!!

To add as much value to the deal we renovated the old house – gave it a new kitchen – spruced up the bathroom and laundry and made a lovely outdoor area for them. I like to leave some value for the new owner – so they can lift and build under when or if they wanted and they will achieve city views as well.
